This Post-Booking & Post-Ticketing Service Fee Policy explains the professional service fees that may apply when Right Fare Match, operated by Plane To Paradise LLC, provides customer-requested assistance after a Flight, Car Rental, or Cruise reservation has been booked, confirmed, or ticketed.
Right Fare Match is an independent Online Travel Agency (OTA).
Post-booking services can require manual research, supplier communication, fare or rate recalculation, reservation modification, ticket exchange or reissue, cancellation processing, refund assistance, waiver requests, and other professional travel-agency services.
Unless otherwise stated, all fees shown in this Policy are in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Right Fare Match service fees are separate from any:
Where a Right Fare Match post-booking service fee applies, the applicable fee will be disclosed before the customer authorizes the paid service.
After a reservation has been completed, customers may request additional professional assistance.
Depending on the request, our travel specialists may need to:
A Right Fare Match professional service fee may therefore apply in addition to charges imposed by the underlying travel provider.
Right Fare Match does not treat authorization for the original reservation as blanket authorization for a materially different post-booking charge.
Where an additional Right Fare Match service fee applies:
A customer remains free to decline an optional paid post-booking service before authorizing it.
Where Right Fare Match provides agent-assisted cancellation of an eligible flight reservation within 24 hours after booking, a professional service fee of up to the following amount may apply:
Domestic Economy: Up to $75 per passenger, per ticket
International Economy: Up to $100 per passenger, per ticket
Domestic Business / First: Up to $100 per passenger, per ticket
International Business / First: Up to $100 per passenger, per ticket
The existence of a 24-hour period does not automatically mean every third-party OTA transaction is legally entitled to free cancellation.
Any applicable statutory right, airline policy, supplier rule, or separately offered Right Fare Match cancellation benefit will govern the underlying reservation.
Nothing in this Policy eliminates a cancellation or refund right that cannot legally be waived.
Where the applicable airline or fare rules permit voluntary cancellation in exchange for a future travel credit and Right Fare Match provides agent-assisted processing, the following professional service fees may apply:
Domestic Economy: Up to $75 per passenger, per ticket
International Economy: Up to $75 per passenger, per ticket
Domestic Business / First: Up to $100 per passenger, per ticket
International Business / First: Up to $100 per passenger, per ticket
Any airline or supplier:
is separate from the Right Fare Match service fee.
Right Fare Match does not control the validity period or redemption conditions of an airline-issued travel credit.
Where a customer voluntarily requests cancellation and the applicable ticket is eligible for a monetary refund under its fare conditions, Right Fare Match may charge an agent-assisted cancellation and refund-processing fee.
Domestic Economy: Up to $150 per passenger, per ticket
International Economy: Up to $250 per passenger, per ticket
Domestic Business / First: Up to $250 per passenger, per ticket
International Business / First: Up to $250 per passenger, per ticket
These are Right Fare Match professional service fees and are separate from any airline or supplier cancellation penalty.
These voluntary-service fees will not be used to reduce or circumvent a refund or other remedy that applicable law requires to be provided without such a fee.
Where Right Fare Match assists with a customer-requested voluntary change, exchange, or reissue of an existing airline ticket:
Right Fare Match service fee: Up to $200 per passenger, per ticket
Right Fare Match service fee: Up to $200 or 15% of the applicable ticket value, whichever is greater.
The applicable fee will be disclosed before the exchange or reissue is processed.
This agency service fee is separate from:
If the replacement itinerary costs more than the value applicable to the original ticket, the customer is responsible for the applicable difference unless expressly stated otherwise.
Requests made close to departure may require expedited research and processing.
For an eligible same-day or urgent voluntary change, an additional expedited professional service fee of up to:
$50 per passenger
may apply in addition to the applicable exchange or reissue service fee.
Any expedited fee will be disclosed before processing.
Right Fare Match cannot guarantee that an airline or supplier will permit the requested change.
Certain exceptional circumstances may allow a traveler to ask an airline for a waiver of its ordinary fare conditions.
Right Fare Match may provide professional assistance preparing, documenting, or submitting an eligible waiver request.
Fees may be:
Domestic Economy: Up to $75 per passenger
International Economy: Up to $100 per passenger
Domestic Business / First: Up to $100 per passenger
International Business / First: Up to $200 per passenger
A Right Fare Match fee compensates us for the professional service performed.
Payment of the service fee does not guarantee that the airline will approve the waiver.
The airline or applicable supplier retains authority over the waiver decision.
A professional service fee may apply to complex post-ticketing matters involving substantial research, supplier communication, documentation, or manual processing.
Examples may include:
The Right Fare Match professional service fee for such assistance may range from:
$75 to $200 per passenger
depending on complexity, itinerary, cabin, supplier requirements, and the amount of work required.
The applicable fee will be disclosed before the paid service is undertaken.
If an airline cancels or significantly changes a flight, different rules may apply from those governing a voluntary customer-requested change.
Right Fare Match may provide reasonable assistance regarding the options available for an eligible reservation.
We will not impose a voluntary cancellation or change fee merely to defeat a mandatory passenger refund or rebooking right.
Where the customer separately requests substantial customized assistance beyond ordinary handling—such as:
a separate professional service fee of up to:
$100 per passenger
may apply where legally permitted.
The customer will be informed of the fee before the additional paid service is performed.
Mandatory passenger rights remain unaffected.
Where Right Fare Match manually assists after ticketing with an optional airline service, a professional assistance fee of up to:
$25 per passenger, per request
may apply.
Examples include assistance with:
Any amount charged by the airline for the actual seat, baggage, meal, upgrade, or other optional product is separate from the Right Fare Match service fee.
Airline tickets are generally issued in the passenger's submitted name.
If a customer requests a post-ticketing correction, Right Fare Match may charge a professional service fee within the applicable complex-servicing range stated above.
Any airline, supplier, consolidator, or ticket-reissue cost is additional.
A name correction or name change is not guaranteed.
Some tickets prohibit passenger substitutions or material name changes entirely.
Failure to travel without appropriately modifying or cancelling the reservation can cause an airline to classify the passenger as a no-show.
This can result in:
Where Right Fare Match is asked to attempt ticket recovery, reinstatement, waiver processing, or rebooking after a no-show, the applicable complex-service fee may apply.
No successful outcome is guaranteed.
Once a car rental reservation has been confirmed, modifications and cancellations may be governed by the applicable rental company, supplier, dealer, wholesaler, or rate conditions.
Where Right Fare Match manually services an existing rental reservation, a separate professional service fee may apply.
For an eligible car rental reservation cancelled through Right Fare Match agent assistance:
Standard Reservation: Up to $50 per reservation
For prepaid, specially negotiated, promotional, dealer, wholesale, or restricted reservations requiring additional supplier processing:
Up to $75 per reservation
These amounts are separate from any cancellation penalty or retained amount imposed by the rental provider or supplier.
If the underlying rental is non-refundable, payment of a Right Fare Match service fee does not make that rental refundable.
Where Right Fare Match assists with modifying an eligible existing rental reservation:
Service Fee: Up to $50 per reservation
Modifications may include eligible changes to:
Any increase in rental price is the customer's responsibility.
Supplier-imposed modification charges are additional.
Where a customer requests substantial manual servicing, such as:
Right Fare Match may charge a professional rebooking fee of up to:
$100 per reservation
The replacement rental price and applicable supplier charges are separate.
If a customer fails to collect a rental vehicle and subsequently requests assistance seeking:
a professional assistance fee of up to:
$75 per reservation
may apply.
The fee compensates Right Fare Match for providing the requested professional assistance and does not guarantee that the rental provider will approve a refund, credit, reinstatement, or waiver.
For exceptional rental matters involving:
Right Fare Match may charge a professional assistance fee of up to:
$100 per reservation
Any refund, waiver, or credit remains subject to supplier approval and applicable law.
Cruise reservations can require extensive post-booking servicing.
Cruise lines may maintain their own:
Right Fare Match service fees are separate from any amount charged or retained by the applicable cruise line.
Where Right Fare Match processes a voluntary cancellation of an eligible cruise reservation:
Up to $100 per cabin
Up to $150 per cabin
Up to $250 per cabin
The cruise line may separately impose a cancellation penalty, including partial or complete loss of a deposit or cruise fare.
The applicable cruise line's cancellation schedule remains separate from Right Fare Match's professional service fee.
Where permitted by the cruise operator, Right Fare Match may assist with changing an existing reservation to another:
Right Fare Match professional service fee:
Up to $150 per cabin
Any cruise-fare difference, tax difference, port charge, supplier fee, loss of promotional value, or other cruise-line amount is separate.
Where Right Fare Match manually assists with changing or upgrading an eligible cruise cabin:
Service Fee: Up to $75 per cabin
Any increase in cruise fare or other amount required by the cruise operator is additional.
Where permitted by the cruise operator, Right Fare Match may assist with:
Professional service fee:
Up to $75 per passenger
Any cruise-line or supplier charge is additional.
Passenger substitutions and name changes are not available for every reservation.
Where a customer asks Right Fare Match to substantially restructure an existing cruise reservation, including:
a professional rebooking fee of up to:
$250 per cabin
may apply.
The applicable fee will be disclosed before the paid service is performed.
Where Right Fare Match provides professional assistance obtaining an eligible voluntary refund or future cruise credit:
Service Fee: Up to $150 per cabin
Where extensive supplier negotiation, exceptional waiver processing, or complex documentation is required:
Service Fee: Up to $250 per cabin
These fees apply to customer-requested professional services and do not override mandatory refund rights under applicable law.
A Right Fare Match service fee is not the same as a charge imposed by an airline, rental provider, cruise line, consolidator, wholesaler, or other supplier.
For example, a voluntary flight change could involve:
Right Fare Match Service Fee + Airline Penalty + Fare Difference + Applicable Taxes
Similarly, a cruise modification could involve:
Right Fare Match Service Fee + Cruise-Line Amendment Charge + Fare Difference
Applicable amounts should be disclosed before the customer authorizes the transaction.
Certain professional services involve requesting an exception from a third party.
Examples include:
Where disclosed in advance, a Right Fare Match professional assistance fee may compensate us for the work performed rather than for a guaranteed outcome.
Payment of an assistance fee does not guarantee supplier approval.
Where expressly disclosed before authorization, a Right Fare Match professional service fee may be non-refundable once the requested professional service has been substantially performed or completed.
For example, if our team performs substantial research, contacts suppliers, processes an exchange, submits a waiver, or completes another authorized service, the professional fee may remain payable even if an independent supplier subsequently refuses the requested exception.
This provision does not apply where applicable law requires the fee to be refunded.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to:
Where applicable law creates a mandatory refund or other remedy, the applicable legal requirement controls.
An original booking or agency service fee, if any, is separate from a later post-booking service fee.
The existence, amount, and applicable refundability of an original Right Fare Match service fee should be disclosed at the appropriate stage of the original transaction.
Whether an original service fee is refundable following a subsequent airline cancellation, customer cancellation, or other event depends on:
Nothing in this Policy makes a fee non-refundable where applicable law requires otherwise.
Where an airline, rental provider, cruise line, consolidator, or another supplier owes a refund, the timing and processing mechanism may depend on:
Right Fare Match will handle any responsibility legally applicable to it and may provide reasonable assistance with eligible supplier refunds.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the service-fee amounts in this Policy are stated in USD.
If a payment card or financial institution converts the transaction into another currency, exchange rates or foreign-transaction charges may be determined by the applicable financial institution or payment provider.
Such currency-conversion costs are not Right Fare Match service fees unless expressly identified otherwise.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, flight service fees described as “per passenger, per ticket” are calculated separately for each applicable passenger and ticket.
For example, where a $75 per-passenger service fee applies to an eligible request involving three passengers, the total Right Fare Match service fee may be up to $225.
The total applicable service fee will be disclosed before authorization.
A complex request may involve more than one distinct post-booking service.
Right Fare Match will not automatically stack unrelated fees without disclosure.
Where multiple paid professional services are reasonably required, the customer should be informed of the applicable Right Fare Match charges before authorizing those services.
Where a post-booking Right Fare Match service is optional and subject to an additional agency fee, customers may choose whether to purchase that service.
In some circumstances, customers may also be able to contact the applicable airline, rental provider, or cruise line directly.
Whether a supplier can directly modify an agency-issued reservation depends on that supplier's policies and the reservation's ticketing or distribution arrangement.
Right Fare Match may, at its discretion and where legally permitted, reduce or waive an agency service fee in an individual case.
A discretionary waiver in one case:
Mandatory legal rights are separate from discretionary fee waivers.
Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback does not automatically cancel a travel reservation.
Customers seeking cancellation should separately request cancellation through the appropriate channel and obtain confirmation.
Payment disputes will be handled according to applicable payment-network procedures and law.
Right Fare Match may update this Policy to reflect changes in:
The fee schedule applicable to a particular paid service should be the amount disclosed and authorized when that service is requested.
We will not use a later website-policy change to retroactively impose a materially different fee that was not properly disclosed and authorized.
